Micro Chubby

The Micro Chubby is the downsized version of the Chubby Chernobyl, one of the most popular foam attractor dries in the West. It keeps the original's layered foam body, rubber legs, and bright poly wing, scaled down to about sizes 12–16. That smaller profile makes it more believable to trout that won't eat a big bug, especially on pressured water or small streams. It can pass for a hopper, beetle, stonefly, or cricket, so it works from early summer through fall. Because it's foam it floats well and carries a small nymph, which makes it a good choice for dry-dropper rigs.
